....I'm giving up wolves to draw nothing but rats. THEY'RE SO MUCH FUN! XD You'd think after all this time I'd give em a try. Giovanni was scampering across my desk trying to find where I hid his treats (his favorite game) and I was procrastinating with my art history report and drawing. So he got to be an experiment that proves rat are AMAZING TO DRAW. Their little toes are sooo much fun. He posed quite well for me a few times and was rewarded with some grapes.

So here's Giovanni, my little gentlemen and the best buddy I could ask for in a rat.

I'm really glad people are starting to draw rats. I've seen a few of them around. They're adorable and so, so underrated. I need to draw more. ^^;

As far as your picture goes, it's gorgeous. I really like the detail you put into the anatomy; I think that looking at them in detail is one way that rats can look a lot more adorable than the way everyone things of the stereotypical scary rat.

I love this it looks so realistic, first of all the anatomy is excellent, I love the shading and the eyes is really awesome, I love the pose and composition, the mouse is a great subject matter !

So cutteeeee. Aren't rats the best pets ever?? I also have a pet rat named Giovannie. <3 She's the best ever.

I love the way you draw rats. I'm still not very good at it. xD hah.


But this is REALLY cute. I love the facial structure.
